Job Description Summary

 

Responsible for the alteration and repair of uniforms as well as the issuing and control of uniforms at the Agua Caliente Casino.  This includes keeping inventory control, accurate record keeping and stocking new inventory at Agua Caliente Casino.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

 

  • Alters and repairs uniforms according to guidelines.
  • Issues and controls uniform inventory at the Agua Caliente Casino.
  • Maintains records of uniforms disbursed and returned.
  • Tags uniforms.
  • Must follow safety and health guidelines.
  • Reports maintenance or equivalent problems in the Wardrobe to the supervisor.
  • Handles Lost and Found items according to established procedure.
  • Turns in paperwork by the end of the shift.
  • Takes inventory as needed.
  • Measure, alter and repair uniforms by hand and with use of a sewing machine.
  • Team Member contact on a daily basis.
  • Aware of internal procedures for uniforms as they pertain to Team Members.
  • Assist in other Housekeeping areas as needed.
  • Provide excellent guest service to both guest and internal clients.
  • Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Job Requirements:

Required Education and/or Experience

 

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Ability to use industrial straight stitch and blind hem machines, organizational skills, must be computer literate or willing to learn.
  • Ability to effectively interact with people.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

 

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout theoffice area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift.  Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment.

 

Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment.  Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to:  a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
