Job Description Summary

 Social Media Manager will drive the company’s social media marketing and strategy to deliver engaging, relatable, actionable content connecting the brand with existing and potential customers.  Working with our internal marketing team and our agency to develop creative, innovative campaigns tied to goals, keeping our brand fresh and forward thinking.  This position is high profile with lots of latitude for creating moments that matter and storytelling opportunities.


Essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)


·         Develop and manage a team of Social Media Specialists

·         Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including develop relevant content topics to reach company’s target customers. 

·         Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written)

·         Manage and oversee social media content

·         Analytics to measure the success of every social media campaign

·         Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences

·         Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals

·         Good understanding of social media KPIs

·         Critical thinker with problem solving skill

·         Daily audit and manage all social content (e.g. original test, photos, videos and news)

·         Collaborate with other internal teams (Marketing, Food & Beverage, Hotel, Entertainment, etc.) to ensure brand consistency

·         Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews

·         Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, etc.)

·         Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness and promotions

·         Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

·         Create and manage monthly content calendars for accuracy of information

·         Maintain brand standards/strategy in social media executions

·         Must comply with all applicable ACRM and ACPS System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures and all Tribal Regulations

Job Requirements:

Education and/or Experience


·         Minimum of an Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Marketing or relevant field

·         5+ years in extensive experience in managing social media for an established brand

·         Superior computer skills. 

·         Hands on experience in content management

·         Excellent copywriting skills

·         Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)

·         Creative or art background preferred but not mandatory

·         Strong photography and photo/video editing skills

·         Professional experience utilizing a digital camera

·         Experience utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite Software

o   Specifically Photoshop.

·         Advanced experience in all the social media channels and mobile applications to support them

o   Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.

·         Experience working with outside agencies supporting social media

·         Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, in English

·         Ability to multi-task and maintain flexibility in a fast paced environment

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.  Also may be subjected to a smoke filled environment.


Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment.  Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to:  a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
