Supervisor, Outside Services

Job Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
 
The outside service supervisor will supervise the outside service staff to provide an exceptional golf experience for the guest. The outside service supervisor will oversee the entire outside service operation which includes all outside service personnel, cart mechanic and range pickers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
 

  • Provide oversight and supervision of Outside Services staff, ensuring adherence to department policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for determining and maintaining staffing levels for Outside Services staff. Responsible for hiring, training and evaluation of staff.
  • Responsible  for daily cut of tip money and keeping a daily log of tips collected.
  • Make sure all carts are cleaned and maintained. Report any cart issues to mechanic.
  • Responsible for all aspects of tournament or event set-up in regards to carts and driving range.
  • Responsible for rental club inventory.
  • Responsible for communicating inventory levels to direct supervisor e.g. towels, pencils, tees, scorecards, and bottled water
  • Provide excellent guest service.
  • Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.

GAMING EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED

Job Requirements:

EDUCATION  and/or EXPERIENCE
 

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the golf business with at least 1 year of experience as a supervisor or manager.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills and computer knowledge.
  • Must be able to work with all different types of individuals and be a team builder

 

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
 
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the
golf course area and properties, including walking up to 2 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.  Also may be subjected to a smoke filled environment.
 
Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move equipment weighing a minimum of 75 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use maintenance equipment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions to include extreme heat and cold weather
