Job Description Summary

Assists in producing written/verbal communications; maintain confidential files, records and reports; Provides clerical and administrative support to the Recruitment Team. Make decisions and takes action based on previous experience and good judgment, within guidelines. Maintains office supplies/inventory for the Employment area and assists with calculating department expense accounts. Prepares various reports as directed by using a variety of Software Programs. Creates Social Media communications to share job opportunities as well as promote our Agua Caliente Culture.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

·         Supports the Recruiting team in all aspects of the Onboarding process.

·         Assists in placing advertisement on a daily/weekly basis. Experience in all the social media channels to create career posts. Maintain Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.

·         Ensures compliance with CA and Federal employment laws including required reporting, verification and employment data retention. Maintains records on recruiting activities as required.

·         Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.

·         May provide initial screening for managers to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.

·         Corresponds with job applicants to notify them of opportunities.

·         Works with the Gaming Commission to ensure smooth licensing process for potential candidates.

·         Develop and maintain professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.


·         Must comply with all applicable Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures and all Tribal Regulations.

Ability to access and input information using a complex computer system and ATS.

Type a minimum 40 words per minute; Microsoft Word; Excel; Ability to handle telephone lines, multi-task and prioritize work as assigned.


Education and/or Experience

High School Education, GED, and or two years in related field


Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the

office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work

station for the duration of the shift.  Also may be subjected to a smoke filled environment.

Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment.  Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to:  a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
